PNB offers loans to rice millers

Kakinada, Feb 11th: Punjab National Bank is offering loans to rice millers with low interest rates. In this concern a meeting was organized with district rice millers at Hotel Ishwarya Grand on Thursday. Bank Deputy General Manager K.K Aravind Akshan asked the millers to avail the facility of loans with low interest rate for their benefit. Rice Millers Association President Ramakrishna Reddy in association with DGM Aravind and Prakash Babu launched the new scheme called 'Commodity Finance'. Speaking on the occasion DGM said that Punjab National Bank is offering its best for the farmers in the name of loans with less interest rates. He revealed that till now the bank has given loans worth 390 crores and they were ready to give loans worth 50 to 60 crores with this new scheme. PNB branch manager N.L.N.S Koundinya, Rajahmundry Bank Manager Sivaprasad, district rice millers association members and other participated.
