A 2 year, 4 semester engineering programme in "NUCLEAR ENERGY" is going to launch in November. This course will be jointly headed by J.N.T.U Kakinada and  "All Tier Engineering College Bangalore". In a meeting held in Civil Engineering Department at J.N.T.U  Allam Apparao said that, in this course 18 students from different engineering departments like Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, . Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgy will be selected, selection procedure will be announced later on.

    In the joint venture of both the colleges, "All Tier Engineering College" will give their support in training the lectures regarding the new course and the students will be sent to Bangalore or the training department would come to Kakinada for the project work

Course Headed by J.S. Rao

     President of Vibration Institute of India Mr. J.S.Rao will act as chief advisory of this course. He took his engineering graduation from J.N.T.U and he was the first person to take do P.hd in 1963. He was the visiting professor in many national and international top level engineering colleges. G.T.R.E, BHEL, Isro, Washington Metro he was chief advisor, he gave his helping hand for many students to get their doctorates

     In the journalist meeting Rao said by 2013 the Fusion Technology would be in boom and nuclear energy would be the main source of energy. To produce Nuclear energy of 500 MW it would be 5500 crores of investment. The experts would be well polished from the private sectors.
