PG courses for Pharmacy colleges

Kakinada, Nov 23 : The Vice chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) Prof Allam Apparao on Monday said that the Pharmacy colleges would be permitted to introduce new post graduate courses-M.Sc Chemistry and M.Tech Bio-technology from the next academic
year. Addressing the principals of the Pharmacy colleges affiliated to JNTUK here, he said, an integrated five years M.Pharma course also would be started from next year on the lines of American universities.

For the JNTUK every student, whether engineering or pharmacy were important. The Pharmacy college managements should ensure better teaching
and high standards of education, improving the infrastructure, he added. The JNTUK academic audit directorate will constantly monitor the functioning of each and every college and will not hesitate to initiate stern action if they fail to comply with the stipulated standards. he warned. Prof T Satya Prasad Director Evaluation has advised the Managements to furnish the correct information about the experience of faculty members, so as to select examiners based on their experience.
