PG center to turn into university

Kakinada, Jan 30th: Kakinada rural Praja Rajyam MLA, Mr. Kurasala Kannababu, assured to extend assistance in the conversion of Andhra University MSN Post-Graduate Center at Atchampeta in Kakinada rural area into Women's University. Inaugurating a blood donation camp organized by NSS unit of the PG Center on Saturday, Mr. Kannababu assured that he will impress the state government about the need to convert the PG Center into a university. He felt that the three-decade-old PG center has all the facilities including 50 acre of land for its conversion into a university.

The MLA donated blood along with the students of the PG center. He assured the students to extend his good help for taking up the construction of hostel for male students in addition to starting new PG Courses at the PG Center. The MLA expressed happiness over the strength of female students in the institution outnumbering male students. Earlier Prof. Rajendra Karmarkar highlighted the requirements of the PG Center that needs attention from people's representatives and the state government.
