Rajahmundry, Dec 4th: Guinness world record holder Ghazal Srinivas gave a performance before the Prisoners of Rajahmundry central jail on Thursday. He arrived her on the occasion of launching the three month certificate course on Gandhian Philosophy.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the inmates are also the common man like every one who should be treated with love and affection. He said that he was touring several prisons to meet the prisoners to bring about a change in them and their way of living. He promised to put the problems of the prisoners before the Chief Minister.
He asked the jail superintendent and other management to provide friendly nature to the prisoners and to train the inmates to lead a peaceful and better life in future. The jails should bring a change in the way of thinking and the behavior of the inmates but not as an activity of punishment imposed on them.
Later Srinivas gave10.000 Rs cheque in favor of central jail library. The cheque was handovered to jail superintendent, asking him to provide books on Gandhi philosophies to the inmates. He asked the prisoners to develop brotherhood among themselves and distributed visiting cards to contact him when needed.
