Defence Accounts Controller General from New Delhi, Mr. Nanda Kishore stated that special priority would be given to the Former Soldiers and their families who fought for entirety and protection of country. He inaugurated the two-day State Defence Pension Adalat being conducted at Ambedhkar Bhavan in association with Defence Accounts Controller, Chennai. Speaking on this, Mr. Kishore said that there are total 22.5 Lakhs Pensioners in Defence department. He assured that Defence Department would look after to solve problems related to disbursements of pensions as soon as possible. As of now, total 103 Pension Adalats were conducted across the Country, he added. As there are no Pension distribution offices in Costal regions, Pension Adalat has been conducted in Kakinada. This Pension Adalat was conducted by the advice given by Defence Minister Mr. MM Pallam Raju. A new Computerized Pension Inquiry System “Suvigya” has been introduced recently, he added. Chennai Defence Account Controller, Anuradha also participated in this program.
