As part of the ongoing 13th All India Inter-University National Integration Camp, the students of 26 universities in the city took out a rally for religious harmony and world peace here on Saturday. The camp was being organised jointly by the Foundation for Amity and National Solidarity (FANS) and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK). Founder President of the FANS, Mr. Virender Mohan Trehan and Vice-Chancellor of the JNTU-K Prof. Allam Appa Rao flagged off the rally at the main gate of the university. Students were dressed in white T-shirts and caps with slogans promoting national integration and blood donation. The students visited Ahle Sunnat Val Jamath and Craig Memorial Baptist Church to offer prayers for religious harmony and national integration. Later they visited Brahmo Samaj near Balaji Cheruvu. Over 350 students participated in the rally that proceeded towards Bhanugudi Junction, Two-Town and Balaji Cheruvu.
