District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has announced that the Passport Mela is to be conducted in Kakinada on 8th & 9th of February, 2014. According to this, she had released a press note here on Wednesday. She said that they have received orders from the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India on this. She said that this mela is to be conducted for 500 candidates that who will receive appointment from the passport online portal. A total 250 members will be covered per day in this mela. Passport will be issued soon for the registered persons in this mela, that she added.
