Visakha Regional Passport Officer Mr. A.T.Murthy has announced that all the arrangements were made for the Passport mela, which is to be conducted on 8th & 9th of February 2014 at JNTU-K alumni auditorium. According to this, he had released a press note here on Monday. He said, as per the orders of Ministry of External Affairs, a total 500 appointments would be given to the applicants on these two days. Candidates who applies for passport through online on or before 5th of February by 5.30 pm will only have chance to get appointment slots in this mela, he stated. The slots will be available from 5th of February after 5.30 pm, he said. Those who had booked online could submit their details to the officials at the venue during the ‘mela’, he noticed. Candidates need to visit the website passport.gov.in to apply, that he added.
