The Passport Mela which is announced by the passport authorities to conduct on 8th & 9th of March 2014 in Kakinada was cancelled. According to this, the passport officials had released a press note here on Wednesday. Speaking on this, the Passport officer Mr. A.T.Murthy has stated that this mela was cancelled because the slots were not opened in the website while the given time has been completed. He said that they will take necessary actions on this issue. He called upon the applicants to cooperate for this incovenience. Sources said, this is the second time in this year that the passport mela was being announced & later cancelled in Kakinada.
