District Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad has conferenced with the officers of different departments as to get prepared for the visit of Parliamentary Committee of Mother and Child, Physically Handicapped and Oldage People. This parliamentary committee visit is going to be held from 16th to 18th of October. Collector has ordered them to appoint as early as possible, for the positions vacant for women, by following the rules of reservation. She ordered to submit the list of “Kaarunya Appointment” before 16th of this month. 16 members of this parliamentary committee is going to visit to inspect of these topics, she added. The schedule of the committee is described by the Collector as follows. The committee is going to reach Kakinada on 16th of October, in the afternoon on the same day it is going to conference on the implementation of Women Reservation and will leave to Rajahmundry. On 17th, they are going to conference in Collectorate. On 18th, they will start to reach Antarvedi from Kakinada in the morning at 7am, from there they will leave to West Godavari. This team is going to inspect Aanganwadi centers, Child Homes and State Homes, she added.
