The coming Village Panchayat Elections will be conducted in three phases in the district, stated by the State Elections Commissioner Mr. P. Ramakanth Reddy, here on Monday, addressing a video conference with all the district officials. District Collector, SP, Urban SP, and other respective officials attended the conference here, from the Collectorate in Kakinada. Speaking on this, the Commissioner has given some instructions to the officials for the coming panchayat elections. He ordered them to take necessary precautions to conduct the elections peacefully without providing any inconvenience to the public. Webcasting method will be introduced to conduct the elections peacefully in the district, he noticed. He also ordered them to try to conduct the elections unanimously. A prize money of Rs. 5 Lakhs will be given for each Village Panchayat, which will be elected Unanimously in these elections, he announced. He also discussed about the execution of elections and its observation in the district.
