Kakinada, Nov 25th: A Post Graduation student commits suicide by consuming acid in the college laboratory. The incident took place on Tuesday at Rajiv Gandhi PG center in Kakinada. The victim is undergoing treatment in local private hospital.
According to sources Vivekananda Swamy was an inhabitant of Mahuranagar of Kakinada. He was pursuing his M.Sc in Rajiv Gandhi PG center. Due to ill health Vivekananda underwent operation for which he could not attend the college and fell short of attendance and also lagged in subjects.
Vivekananda was so depressed that the college authorities asked him not to appear for the exams as he was short of attendance. In that situation he consumed acid in the college laboratory on Tuesday. College authorities rushed him to the hospital and the doctors declared the condition to be serious.
Parents of the student logged complaint on the incident against the college on Tuesday. CI said that they did not receive any information neither from the college nor from the hospital regarding the incident. Student Federation Union Demanded for the enquiry in this issue. Police filed the case and doing further investigation.
