Kakinada, April 8th: East Godavari District collector and District Election Officer (DEO), Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi has ordered various political party representatives to follow poll code and avoid violations during their campaigns. At a meeting organized at district collectorate on Wednesday collector allotted party symbols to the contesting candidates. Addressing the party representatives he ordered them to submit the reports of their poll expenditure spend on the rallies and any other related for every 3 days.
Collector also ordered to submit the details of the printing presses in which they order for pamphlets and any other material related to electioneering. He asked to take the permission from the police authorities for using loud speakers and organizing campaigns and road shows. He revealed to conduct training classes for the polling staff on April 10 & 11 and asked the party representatives to attend the classes without fail to observe the postal ballot seal. Election observers, Ashok Kumar Varma, A.H Khan, V. Soundara Rajan, DRO Mohan Raju, and various party representatives attended the meeting.
