Kakinada, Dec 10th: A man who was seriously injured in a road accident was died due to delay in reaching the hospital. Due to traffic jam the injured could not be reached to hospital on time. Doctors declared the injured to be dead with in few minutes of admission in the hospital.
According to the information provided by the police, the victim Reddy Ravikumar (25) was working as a constable in I Battalion APSP Hyderabad. Recently he was recruited as civil constable for Rajahmundry region.
Ravikumar and his friend Hussein (23), who was also selected for the civil constable was to go to Government Hospital Kakinada for medical tests. On their way to the hospital they dashed the auto rickshaw which took sudden stop at ADB road. The lorry which was going by the side mounted on Ravikumar which caused severe injuries to both his legs.
Victim was shifted to hospital in 108 and was dead while undergoing treatment. Doctors declared the condition of Hussein was improved and was out of danger. Parents of the victim were depressed by the death of their only son. Gundepalli SI Y.R.K Srinivas filed the case for further investigation.
