Kakinada, Mar 17th: A one day workshop on ‘Effective Teaching through Advanced Technologies and Environment Awareness’ was organized at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on Tuesday. The work shop was organized under the chairmanship of Dr. K.V.S.G Murali Krishna at Civil Engineering department, university campus. University principal E.V Prasad, Professor Mr. Purnanandam, Chairman of Pragathi Educational Society, Mr. S. Purnachandra Rao and many more participated.
Vice chancellor of JNTU University, Mr. Allam Apparao presided over the meeting. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Apparao said that there was huge need to change the teaching methods with the changing needs of the technology. He revealed that teachers and professors play a vital role in educating the students and developing them as good citizens. He asked the teachers to impart technical knowledge and create economic awareness among the students besides normal education. Teaching with perfect planning will yield better results, a senior professor said.
