Chittipedhi Ramakrishna Memorial One-day Cricket Tournament has been started here on Monday at Rangaraya Medical College Sports Grounds in Kakinada. According to this, the Co-ordinator Mr. Kondalarao had released a press note here saying that these competitions will be conducted in league method and prize money of Rs.15000/- will be presented to the winning team. The first day match was conducted between Ramesh Royals and Victorial Teams. Speaking on this, the RMC Physical Education Director Mr. K. Sparjan Raju has stated that these type of sports will give more encouragement to the cricket players. The one-day matches are the most challenged matches for crickets, he added. District Cricket Association Asst Secretary Mr. Harish, City Congress leader Mr. Kampara Ramesh, Ideal Educational Institutions Secretary Mr. Kiran, Coach Mr. Ravi Kumar and many others participated in the inauguration program.
