A 70 yr old woman named Sk. Sathaarbi, who belongs to Jagannaickpur, Kakinada was found dead in Turangi Canal here on Tuesday. Residents of Turangi informed about the death to the President of Panchayat, Mr.Balagam Prasanna Kumar who further informed to One Town & Indrapalem Police immediately. Family Members reached the incident spot and identified the Victim as Sk.Sathaarbi by observing her clothes. According to family members, Sathaarbi was missing from past three days and they also complained police about her missing, but no one took immediate action on this, they grieved. All members of the family went to Srikakulam to attend a relative's marriage on Friday and returned on same night to Kakinada. As they reached their home, they found Sathaarbi missing. According to the statement given by relatives, Police staff thought thieves might have stolen gold ornaments weighing 64 grams that Sathaarbi wore. Later, on observation, one gold ring was missing and other ornaments were not stolen. Hence, police concluded this as a death under mysterious circumstances and case has been filed.
