Kakinada, April 5th: Kakinada rural C.I, M. Venkateswara Rao and Sarpavaram SI, Rajashekar Rao seized oil tanker which was carrying illegal Naftha oil at local Auto Nagar on Sunday. Police caught the pump operator Nagabhusahnam while he was transferring oil from one tanker to other and trying to make illegal supply. Nearly ten thousand liters of oil worth Rs 2 lakh was seized.
According to the police the tanker has to carry the oil to the Sepctrum Power Project. Tank owner Murali along with driver absconded. Police filed the case and investigating from different angles. The cops were trying to find the main persons who were involved in this act. Police suspect the hand of local congress leaders. It was too early to say the names of the persons who were involved in this case, said the local police.
