District Administration became alert to overcome Thane Cyclone and made necessary arrangements for rescue team. Apart from Government administration, assistance from private organizations will also be taken. As cyclone might cross the coast on Friday, officials became alert. Rescue teams were arranged to help people, fishermen living nearby coastline in 13 Districts. Under the supervision of Joint Collector, Mr. A.Babu, Department of Civil Supplies, Agriculture, Revenue, Medical and Healthy, Roads & Buildings and fisheries became attentive. Basic commodities are also set, if situation becomes worse. JC ordered all officials to be alert these days and strictly said that holidays will not be permitted to respective officials
