Novel Protests for Samaikyandhra

The novel protests of Employees, Students, Advocates and other section peoples marked the Samaikyandhra agitation in Kakinada on Saturday. The employees JAC staged a protest by tying ribbons around their necks and walking on their knees half-naked infront of the Collectorate in Kakinada. This protest led by the JAC District Chairman Mr. Buriga Asheervadam. Speaking on this, he demanded the CWC to roll back their decision on state bifurcation. He stated that the employees will not give up their agitation unless the Central Government announces in favor of Samaikyandhra. The Stamps & Registration department employees District JAC also conducted a half-naked procession wearing vegetable caps and garlands in the city. The document writers staged a dharna wearing bullock-horns and requested the separatists not to behave like animals. Around 1,000 students from Women's College Kakinada had observed a procession and staged protest infront of the Collectorate. The protest led by its Principal Mr. Perraju. On the otherside, 100 members of youth donated their blood in a protest camp organised by Pantham Nanaji Yuva Sena at Bhanugudi center. Anganwadi's, Municipal Employees and many others continued their protest on Saturday. The agitators demanding the Antony Committee to give proper note on Samaikyandhra.
