Kakinada, Aug 4th: The East Godavari District collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwivedi directed the district manager, Mr. G. Satyanarayana to issue show cause notices to all the engineers who were lagging behind the implementation of the Indiramma housing program. The collector observed that divisional engineers of Amalapuram and Mandapeta and assistant engineers of Addateegala, Y. Ramavaram, Rajavommangi and Gangavaram are delaying the project works.
A review meeting was organized on housing activity at district collectorate on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion collector called up the engineers to strive hard to keep the district on the first place in the state. He stressed the need for speedy execution of housing program in both urban and rural areas in the district. He also directed the district manager to attend to the complaints received through the toll free number and also directed the housing engineers to avoid delay in payments to beneficiaries.
