Hyderabad, April 9th: JNTU, Hyderabad has declared that there will not be any change in the Eamcet date and will be conduced on May 14th as scheduled. University which is conducting the Eamcet exam this year has made it clear that the university is not going to change scheduled date because of elections. There were apprehensions over the conduct of the exam just two days before the counting of votes in the state on May 16th.
Nearly 3, 11,334 students are going to appear for the engineering stream while 65,482 are appearing for medical stream. Exam is likely to be conduced in 22 cities in all district head quarters. The authorities have arranged 606 centers for engineering stream and 143 centers for medical stream. According to Eamcet chairman, Mr. D.N Reddy, hall tickets will be issued from April 16 to April 24 and students can collect the same from their respective regional centers. Candidates can also download their hall tickets from website.
