No breakthrough in Kidnap case

Kakinada, May 26th: The investigations of the police in the kidnap of seven-year-old boy, Abhishek achieved no breakthrough on the second day on Tuesday. The kidnap took place when Abhishek was returning home after attending the summer training classes at Nagamallithota Junction of the city on Monday morning. Abhishek was found missing since her mother dropped him at the school in the morning.

 

With the complaint lodged by the parents, Kakinada division police are trying to trace the culprits. As the grand father of the abducted boy was a former DGP, an extra responsibility was imposed on police in their investigation. According to sources, the kidnappers are making calls from different public telephone booths to the kin of the boy demanding to give Rs 25 lakh to release the boy.

 

One of the investigation officer said that the parents of the boy are not co-operating with police to acquire the clues. He also disclosed that they have kept police men at suspected public telephone booths hoping for breakthrough at the earliest.
