District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has called upon the public to follow the Road Transport department rules to avoid the road accidents. Yesterday, she has started the 25th National Highway Traffic Safety Week program, which was held at the District Placement Office in Kakinada. Speaking on this, she has ordered the transport department officials to provide license to school buses & private buses only after checking them perfectly. A 15 mins short film was being launched to create awareness on public on road accidents. This awareness program will be conducted upto 26th of this month, she added. Later, the Collector & SP were flagged off the publicity Bus, which was arranged to create awareness on road accidents to the public. RTO Mr. Ravi Kumar, Assistant RTO Lakshmi Praveena and other respective officials were attended the program.
