Kakinada Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (NFCL) Victims Association demanded to stop the third plant construction and to adopt the affected villages by NFCL. According to this, the association staged a protest in front of Collectorate in Kakinada. Firstly, they participated in a rally from Godarigunta which proceeded towards Collectorate. Later, they offered garlands to the statues of Jyothi Rao Bhai Pule & Dr. B.R.Ambedhkar at Santhibhavan and Indrapalem centers in Kakinada. They said, all the nearby villages are going to be affected by this plant construction, and this will lead to the loss of health, food & houses of the poor families living in those villages. They mainly demanded Government to built Corporate School & Hospital and also requested to provide jobs for the eligible candidates in those villages. Speaking on this, Honorable President of the Association, Mr. T.Chengal Rao demanded that Government need to stop the development of NFCL to avoid loss for nearby villages. He grieved that NFCL is showing wrong reports to the Government according to the plant construction and without providing any necessary amenities they have started their works in those villages, he added. Later, they have submitted an appeal letter including 20 demands to the District Collector, Smt. Neethu Kumar Prasad. State President of Maala Maharjana Association, Mr. Danam Lajaru babu, Association President Mr. Suraada Chinnarao, Mr. Ravi Prakash Varma, Mr. M.Tatarao and others participated in the program.
