Hyderabad, July 17th: A newborn baby was kidnapped by an unidentified woman from the Government Unani Hospital near Charminar on Friday. According to the police Ms Nazia Begam delivered a baby boy on July 16. Nazia’s husband, Mr. Mohammad Isaka, said an unidentified woman told his wife that here relatives were waiting downstairs to see the baby.
As Nazia was walking down the staircase the woman offered help and said she would carry the baby for Ms. Nazia. However, when Nazia reached downstairs, she realized that the woman has given her a slip and had taken the baby. Nazia fainted on the spot and was shifted to modern maternity hospital near the City College. “We have deployed special team to trace out the missing infant”, said the Moghalpura inspector, Mr. Ranga Reddy.
