Kakinada Sambamurthy Nagar New Port Railway Station will be inaugurated here on Monday. This station has been constructed with a budget of Rs.35 Lakhs. Construction was completed 2 years back but due to teething troubles inaugural was delayed. Finally, proposals were passed to officers regarding inaugural here on Sunday. MDRM, DRM, GM visited the station several times and appreciated the construction works but never declared the inaugural date. Booking Station, Reservation Office, Waiting rooms, Foot over Bridge, bathrooms and all other basic facilities are provided in this station. As orders have been passes all of a sudden, arrangements on booking counter, tickets facilities were arranged in hurry. Trains, which departure from Kakinada Port Railway Station will departure from this new port railway station. Similarly, tickets will be provided at new port railway station. Railway Officers advised passengers to notice these changes.
