As a result of the mess charges hike, the new menu has been introduced for all the Government Social Welfare Hostel students in their daily meals around the district. According to this, Joint Director of District Social Welfare Department Mr. T. Vijay Kumar has passed orders to the respective officials here on Saturday on this. Similary, BC, Girijan & Minority Welfare department officers also passed the orders to change the food menu in all their hostels over the district. According to the sources, mess charges are hiked only because of the hike of gas price and all other general goods prices by the Government.
