District Collector Mr.M.Ravi Chandra said that BC, SC and ST candidates pursuing B.Tech and MCA will be given training on soft skills for a period of 40days. Plans will be implemented to provide placement assistance after completion of training he added. Principals of various other colleges participated in a meeting in Gowtami Meeting Hall here on Wednesday. The Collector said that students from villages tend to have poor communication and soft skills. This plan has will be implemented as soon as possible to provide employment he added. Mr.Ravi Chandra said that training for these candidates would be given in TTDC training center, Samalkot and the interviews will be conducted on the 6th of the next month in Collectorate. He also said that the Principals of the respective colleges must submit the list of the candidates along with full details. Joint Collector K.Sasidhar, DRDA PD Madhukar Babu and others participated.
