New courses to start in varsity

Amalapuram, Nov 26th: The NTR Health University plans to introduce several new courses in the next academic year 2010-2011. The university vice chancellor told here on Thursday that they were planning to introduce a course in nutrition science at both the graduation and post-graduation levels in addition to public heath courses. The VC said that in the last two years, they introduced semester system of exams.

He revealed that they had also taken measures to ensure secrecy in evaluation of the answer scripts for PG courses to avoid any allegations of lapses and added that efforts were on to complete the evaluation of the answer scripts with one week after the completion of the exams and announcement of the results in just 15 days. Given the increasing demand for getting admission into MBBS from the students, the vice chancellor hinted that the quota of seats would be increased.
