Mr.M.Ravi Chandra takes charge as Collector of East Godavari district on Monday replacing Gopalakrishna Dwivedi who has been appointed Special Commissioner of Commercial Taxes at Hyderabad. Mr.Ravi Chandra signed on the official papers at 10.15 A.M on Panchamukha Anjaneya Swamy temple premises at Samalkot shortly before Chief Minister K Rosaiah's arrival.
Mr.Ravi Chandra is a 1996 batch IAS officer who earlier worked as Collector of Nellore and Chittoor districts. Before being posted Collector of East Godavari, he was Vice – Chairman and Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Health, Medical Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation(APHMHID) Later, Joint Collector K Sasidhar, Additional Joint Collector B Rama Rao, DRO S Venkat Rao, Kakinada RDO G.C.
