District Congress Party paid rich tribute to Former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his 47th Death Anniversary. The Death Anniversary of Pandit Nehru was observed here on Friday at the Party Office in Kakinada. As a part of this, District Congress Leaders offered garlands to his statue. Speaking on this, Leaders stated that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was Indian political leader who was the first and longest-serving Prime Minister of India. Later, PCC Union Secretary, Mr. Bonam Bhaskar said that Nehru as a Prime Minister implemented many projects in India and played a major role in the development of the country. He called upon the people to work together to achieve the dreams and goals of Jawaharlal Nehru.
