Need to encourage the talented: Mayor

Kakinada, Feb 6th: Kakinada town mayor, Kavikondala Saroja explained the need of encouraging the talented students. On the occasion of 33rd industrial and agriculture exhibition, cultural programs were organized to the school students. The program took place at local Kulaicheruvu premises on Friday. Mrs Saroja attended as the chief guest for the program. Students from various schools have actively participated in the competitions.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Saroja said that there was a huge need to encourage the talented students. She appreciated the exhibition management for encouraging the students by organizing such events. Durga Prasad Charitable Trust chairman Mr. Somprasad also presided over the meeting. Speaking on the occasion he promised to give scholarships to the students who secure highest marks in the fore coming SSC exams. Later prizes were distributed to the winners. Deputy Mayor Arigela Srinivas, Corporator Chayadevi, K. Vijaya Kumar and others participated.
