National Board of Accreditation (NBA) will visit JNTU Kakinada on 28th, 29th, 30th of this month. JNTU-K approached NBA to become a recognized university as per the restrictions from Higher Educational Board. In the 3-day visit, NBA team will make keen examination of all the five departments of the college. This team will make acute observation on 27 different points in Civil, EEE, Mechanical, ECE, Computer Science and Engineering. They will also cross check the programs conducted in the last three years in college. They will study the newly introduced courses, lab facility, college pass percentage, professors, lecturers, researches conducted and Mtech student’s details. If any problems faced in any of those departments, they will consider it. On the first day, they will participate in the meeting with team members at 9:30am. Principal of JNTU College, Uday Bhaskar will explain the programs conducted in college at 10am. Later, they will examine central library, computer, workshop, physics, chemistry labs and hostels, facilities to sportsperson, training and placements at 11am. In the afternoon at 2pm, they will discuss with department heads and experts. They will interact with students at 4pm, with staff and faculty at 4:30pm.
