Kakinada, Feb 5th: Navodaya school, an under taking of central government is going to conduct entrance exam on February 8th. The exam will take place from morning 10am to 12pm. For the academic year 2009-10 nearly 9,189 students have applied for the exam. For the benefit of the students, the authorities have made all the arrangements to conduct the exam in 48 all over the district. The question papers will be shifted to the exam centers just one hour before the commencement of the exam.
Sources reveal that there was a huge competition for the exam in this year as there is only one school in the district offering this education. For the existing 100 seats thousands of students are competing to check their luck. For the qualifying students the government will provide free and quality education along with free lodging and boarding. Many of the parents are alleging that the government is not increasing the seats with the increasing competition. Compared to the academic year 2008-09, the number of students appearing for the exam is doubled.
