The State Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Bhanwarlal has announced the list of voters in the district, on occasion of the National Voters Day, which celebrates every year on 25th of January by the Government of India. According to this, Mr. Bhanwarlal had released a press note here on Friday. He has announced the list of district voters as below;

New Voters added after 15-01-2013    -                3,69,530
Removed Voters due to wrong info      -                1,25,457
Total Voters as on 24-01-2014             -                36,19,262

The final list of voters after some more addings & modifications is to be published on 31st of this month, sources said. On the otherside, the district electoral authorities were arranged a special voter registration campaign. This campaign will be conducted only on Saturday ie., 25th January. A total 213 polling booths were arranged for this special campaign in the district. Eligible candidates should walk-in the centers to register their vote along with age declaration certificate & two passport size photos, sources added.
