National Voter’s Day Observed, Kakinada City Constituency started distribution of Election Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) here on Tuesday. According to this, Deputy Tahsildar (Elections) Mr. Satyanarayana announced that newly enrolled 17,000 voters are going to receive their voter identity cards. Total 222 polling stations are working for this distribution process. A badge, with a logo and slogan “Proud to be a voter – Ready to vote,” will also be given to the new voters. He stated this initiation is expected to give the youth a sense of responsible citizenship, empowerment, pride and participation, and inspire them to exercise their newly acquired franchise, when occasion arises. As part of the National Voter’s Day celebrations, NCC Cadets conducted Rally here on Tuesday from JNTU-K to Bhanugudi area. Main ambition of the rally is to create awareness to the people on vote.
