The National Science Day was grandly celebrated here on Thursday, marking the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian Physicist, Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman on 28 February 1928. According to this, Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV) has organized a program on this occasion here at Jagannaickpur MSN Charities Aided High School, Kakinada. It is also observed as the foundation day of Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV). Speaking on this, JVV District Main Secretary Mr. Kesari Srinivasa Rao has stated that “Science is for Public” and “Science is for Progress”. The District Co-ordinator of National Children Science Congress has explained about the importance of science to the students here.
