District Olympic and Boxing Association organized the 44th National-level Youth Male Boxing Championship-2011 competitions. These competitions were started here on Tuesday at District Indoor Stadium in Kakinada. According to this, Zilla Parishad Chairman & District Boxing Association President, Mr. Ch.Venugopala Krishna presided over the program. Speaking on this, he stated that it is pride to conduct National level competitions in Kakinada and International level competitions will also be conducted in Kakinada very soon, he added. Andhra Pradesh Amateur Boxing Association Secretary, Mr. Ravi Raju stated that National & International level sportsperson will be participatin in the competitions. Indian Chief Coach, Mr. Venkateswara Rao said that each boxing competition will take place for two to three minutes for under 17 & 18 categories. District Boxing Association Vice President Mr. Tulasidas, Asian Association Secretary Mr. Boidhar, Visakha Boxing Association Vice President Mr. Reddy, D.S.D.O Mr. Ravi, Educationalist Smt. Chiranjeevini Kumari, Mr. Vankayala Maruthi Prasad, Mr. Veeraswamy, Mr. Gopal, Mr. Chandra Shekar, Mr. Muralidharan and others participated in the program.
