Kakinada, Dec 22nd: Nation level baseball competitions are going to be held from today. For the three day competitions to be held from Dec 23 to Dec 25, nearly 350 sports persons from different places including Medak, Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Chittoor, Prakasam, Guntur and other districts are going to take part. All is set for the competitions to be held grandly at Rangaraya Medical College sports grounds.
The competitions will be held separately for men and women. The competitions were taken as a challenge for the sports persons who were lagging behind in the game and needs to prove their ability. District baseball association president, S.V Saibaba said that the winners in these competitions will participate in the competitions that are going to take place at Orissa from January 12 to 17, 2010. He also said that lodging and boarding facilities will be separately provided for both men and women and revealed that Aditya Educational societies is providing transport facilities.
