The one-day hunger strike, which was conducted by Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President Mr. N. Chandra Babu Naidu with all his supporters and followers against the power cuts and hike of power charges in the state, was successfully completed here on Monday in Kakinada. Firstly, he started the rally from Ananda Bharati grounds to Nagamallithota Electricity (APEPDCL) Office towards ROB, Vinayaka Cafe, Padmapriya Road and Bhanugudi Jn areas. There after, he participated in the protest camp, which was arranged infront of the APEPDCL office near JNTU, Kakinada. Speaking on this, he criticized the Congress party way of ruling in the state. He said that the government is going in a fascist way in increasing power tariff and burdening the lower middle class, middle class and indirectly targeting farmers. He had attracted people with his continous speech on power issues from Morning 11.15 am to Afternoon 12.35 noon in the protest camp. After completing the strike at Evening 5 pm, he restarted his Padha Yatra 'Vastunna Meekosam' from Nagamallithota to Atchampeta Jn, towards Boat club, Sarpavaram and NFCL road areas. He resided in a hotel at Atchampeta Jn for rest Yesterday night. All the party leaders and members from the district participated in the program. A huge number of public came on roads to see & wish Mr. Naidu.
