Muslims celebrated Milad-un-Nabi, which commemorates the Prophet Mohammad's birthday here on Friday. Milad un-Nabi is a gazetted holiday in India and is also known as Nabi Day. According to this, a big rally was conducted by all the muslims in Kakinada. Later, special prayers were performed in Jagannaickpur Masjid under the observance of Imam Gouse Mohiddin. Speaking on this, he has stated that Prophet Mohammad has born to lighten up the human lives. Later, they had conducted food donation (Annadhanam) program in the city. Some of the Politicians and other famous personalities from the city participated in the program.
