Murder accused gets bail

Rajahmundry, Jan 13th: Double murder accused Matta Rajesh who was accused in the murder of Anushas parents Narla Srinivas and Satyavathi  was released on conditional bail from the central prison on Tuesday. With this Anusha who sustained serious neck injuries during the attack on September 17, 2009, along with her sisters, with the support of women groups staged dharna in front of the office of revenue divisional officer, demanding the cancellation of the bail and provision of protection to her and her sisters here on Wednesday.

Rajesh was released from the central prison as he was granted conditional bail by the magistrate. He is supposed to report to the Three Town police station twice a day in the morning and also in the eventing while he is on bail. Anusha expressed fear once again on the security to her life and also to her two young sisters. She submitted a representation to the RDO, Mr. Vinay Mohan, appealing for cancellation of the bail to Rajesh until the court delivers the verdict in the case. She also submitted a representation to the DSP, Ms D. Janaki.
