Mr. K.Ravi Kumar was appointed as SI of Marine Police Station of Coastal Department. Higher officials passed this appointment order here on Monday. Presently, Mr. Ravi Kumar is working as III-Town Additional SI. According to inner sources, he might be taking his responsibilities as Marine SI on Tuesday. He belongs to 1995 SI Batch and he worked as SI in various places earlier. However, the SI posting in Marine Department has been appointed after a long period. Earlier, Mr. Suresh Babu worked as SI and was transferred to other place. Since then, Marine department had not appointed SI post officially.
