The 134th Birth Anniversary of Lions Club International Founder, Mr. Melvin Jones has grandly celebrated here on Sunday, by the club members in Kakinada. The program was held under the chairmanship of Kakinada Lions Club President Mr. K. K. Mehata. Firstly, they had offered garlands to the photograph of Melwin Jones and paid rich tributes. Speaking on this, Ex-Governor of the club, Dr. Badam Bala Krishna has stated that the club was established by Melvin Jones on 1917year and presently the services were going successful in and around 207 Countries. A total of 13.5 Lakh members are providing their services world wide as members of the club, he added. Lions club is here to serve the public for every second in the world, he stressed. Members Mr. G. V. S. Gandhi Ji, Mr. Sarma, Mr. Sita Rammurthy, Mr. Jagannadha Rao, Mr. Mohan Kumar, Mr. Prasad, Mr. Sri Ramachandra Murthy and others participated in this program.
