Hyderabad, June 29th: The Nagarkurnool MP, Mr. Manda Jagannatham on Monday beat up the branch manager of local bank for not releasing loans to beneficiaries. Beneficiaries who were sanctioned loans from the AP Grameena Vikas Bank complained to the MP at the mandal parishad meeting at Uppununthala in Mahbubnagar district that the manager, Mr. Ravinder Reddy, has been refusing to release the amount for the past six months.

The MP called up the manager and questioned him about the denial of loans. The manager reportedly replied casually. Mr. Jagannatham lost his cool and left the meeting midway and rushed the bank. There he slapped the manager asking him the reasons for the delay in sanctioning the loans. Are you giving the loans from your pocket? he questioned the manager.
