MOU Between JNTU & CMU

Kakinada, Oct 9th: An Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was exchanged between the Central Michigan University (CMU) and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Kakinada on the academics and research, in the campus on Friday. CMU executive director, Mr. Mark Poindexter and JNTU-K registrar Mr. V. Ravindra signed the papers. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. V Ravindra explained the initiatives taken to develop the varsity into an institution of global repute. Director of Foreign Universities and Alumni Relations P Uday Bhaskar and others were present.

Addressing the meeting with JNTU-Kakinada Registrar V Ravindra and other faculty Mr. Poindexter said India had a great economist and leader in Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. His vision and planning have to be translated into reality to achieve further progress. The Indian Government has successfully transformed the higher education sector into a world class one and institutions like the CMU were happy to contribute their mite. Appreciation of intellectual capital was the need of the hour and youth have to be prepared for the future challenges by continuously upgrading their skills, he said.
