Hyderabad, June 1st: The Southwest monsoon has further advanced to Rayalasemma and south coastal Andhra Pradesh on Monday. Every year the monsoons are likely to hit the state in the first week of June but this year they entered the state a week before giving a good relief to the people from heavy temperatures. As expected by the metrological department the monsoons entered Kerala state four days back but could not advance to Andhra Pradesh due to formation of Aila in Bay of Bengal.
According to the meteorologist of the Hyderabad metrological department, Mr. Subbarao the monsoon will advance only after the formation of depression in the sea. Expecting depression in a day or two the monsoons started advancing towards the state on Monday. Mr. Rao said that monsoons has advanced into some parts of central Arabian Sea, coastal and south interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and west central Bay of Bengal.
