Kakinada, Jan 10th: The State Bank of India (SBI) launched mobile banking for the benefit of its customers recently. Under this system the savings bank account holder can obtain the details of balance in the account, transfer of funds from one account to another, payment of mobile phone and other bills, can have the accessibility to topup cards, request for cheque books, merchant payments, 24 hours in a day and all the 365 days banking, payments to SBI life insurance and allied activity. The customer can go for all except the ATM transactions through the mobile phone. Mr. P.V Ramakrishna Rao, branch manager of Sriramnagar SBI, said that the entire process is done either in SMS form or internet system with User ID and password assessability.
